konicawc module for 2.4.x kernel

There is a module for a webcamera called konicawc http://downloads.x-wrt.org/xwrt/kamikaze/snapshots/brcm-2.4/packages/kmod-video-konica_2.6.25.20-etrax-1_cris.ipk
It's only in x-wrt and for 2.6 kernel.
I have Asus wl-500w so I'm stuck with 2.4 kernels however I remember that konicawc module have worked fine on my desktop few years ago with 2.4.x kernels. Is it possible to add this module in 2.4 version to the snapshot repository ?
